We are looking for someone with strong advanced analytics experience for an exciting Data Scientist position for advanced analytics projects in the TMT space.  Based in the Singapore office but you will also get the chance to travel. Successful candidates are intellectually curious builders who are biased toward action, problem solving and communicative.

WHO YOU ARE

• Ability to articulate sophisticated data science concepts in an understandable manner

• Have significant experience applying advanced analytics to a variety of business situations and a proven ability to synthesize complex data; as well as a deep understanding of modern machine learning techniques and their mathematical underpinnings, and are able to translate this into business implications for our clients

Qualifications

• Recent PhD or Master’s Degree in computer science, applied mathematics, statistics, machine learning, or other data centric disciplines

•  3 or more years of relevant industry work experience in the TMT sector providing advanced analytics solutions

•  Additional experience in core analytic methods such as predictive modelling, customer segmentation/clustering, network analysis, supply chain optimisation, etc.

•  Fluency in at least one scripting language (e.g. Python, R)

MANAGER 

We are looking for someone with experience leading teams and projects in the TMT space, with day to day client contact and the ability to manage client relationships to deliver strategic and operational projects focused on results.

• Very strong communication skills required for internal and external communication

• Credible at Board level with the ability to relate well to clients and colleagues

• Analytical clear thinker who can recognise critical issues, highly numerate individual, who is hypothesis and issue driven

Qualifications

• Excellent first degree, preferably with an MBA from a leading school

• Outstanding track record of achieving and exceeding objectives

• At least five years’ experience of complex consulting projects including experience from a blue chip or consultancy group

• Excellent understanding of the TMT sector

• Experience of managing work streams and teams

• Applied experience in translating key client issues into deliverables and implementing this advise

• Outstanding leadership qualities

• A proven track record of developing successful relationships at senior executive to Board level
